The design of the portfolio gives a lot of space to the actual works and in that sense focuses on the art itself. Therefore the only color in the deck comes from the works themselves in form of photography and renderings. The rest of the layout is set in black and white and shows a small palette of grey tones. While the colors are subtle, the font brings some of the boldness, activism, and variety that's in Thrän's work into the design. In total, three fonts are used here: Acumin Pro, Epitaph Regular, and Hoefler Text in Italics. Together they express Thrän's seriousness and scientific approach – as well as her interest in experiment, complexity, contradiction, relationships, and humans.
