Biwakia is a personal project of mine – and a made-up word based on the word bivouac. It represents a very easy basic spot to stay the night outdoors. Biwakia therefore is a concept for the – in my eyes – ideal camping spot. Being outdoors is the most refreshing thing for me to do. I love to camp, ideally wild in pure nature. In Germany however spots to do so are hard to find. Therefore I conceptualized a legal camp spot that allows visitors to experience camping in its most basic style, without having to give up the sweet luxurious feeling of vacationing.
I created a brand and logotype, as well as a fundamental style guide for Biwakia. On this basis, I developed a website that offers visitors the option to get to know the camp site, its features and options as well as book a night stay. I set up several visuals for social media and outlined some of the endless possibilities for merchandise. The copy in German displayed in the website was developed by me.
